Chronic Fatigue
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) can be a debilitating condition. Hypothyroidism, low iron, low iodine, celiac disease, food sensitivities, and yeast overgrowth in the intestines are the more common reasons for this syndrome. CFS presentation can range from simple “slow starting” to “complete exhaustion” and affects both men and women.
Symptoms Commonly Experienced by People with CFS

At Weight Loss & Vitality we look at the mitochondrial function and methylation of your body through advanced blood and urine testing. Mitochondriopathy, or disorders of the mitochondrial, occur when the cell malfunctions when trying to provide energy. Often, the body is unable to completely burn food and oxygen to generate energy, which is essential for normal cell function. These conditions are often inherited and are incurable. However, the severity of the condition can be controlled with proper treatment.
Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a condition in which one has generalized pain and is estimated to affect 6 million people. This condition can also cause fatigue, sleep disturbances, brain fog, depression and cognitive impairment similar to CFS.
Common causes of Fibromyalgia include hypothyroidism, serotonin problems, candida in the intestines, food sensitivities, and Vitamin D deficiency. Several medications are available to treat fibromyalgia like Lyrica and Sevella. Although these medications can be very helpful, we look at possible root causes and make every effort to address the cause rather than focusing on the symptoms.
